HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
1. Can ERPNext be installed in my Organization?
ERPNext can be installed on any server either standalone or in a Local Area Network (LAN). Please be aware that the customer is responsible for having a proper infrastructure for the software to be installed. Installing ERPNext on premise has some benefits as well as drawback. 2. Do I need a software license?
No, ERPNext is completely free and open source software for any size business
3. I want to install ERPNext in Cloud, is this possible?
It is possible to ERPNext Software on a dedicated or hosted server (“in the cloud”) if you don’t have your own server. Installing this software in the cloud has a lot of benefits (such as being less hassle and costs for managing your own hardware)
4. Does the software also run on Mac(Apple PC)?
Yes it is possible to run our software on Mac OS. The software is Web-based and Platform independent, It can run in any computer as well as mobile device.

1. Who has developed ERPNext?
It´s been developed by ERPNext Organization in India. This means that you will get the best features for your software that are adopted worldwide and used by more than 3000 companies in more than 130 countries. 2. How do I know whether it will accommodate my requirements?
ERPNext has been developing business software since 2010. And have been continuously improving and expanding the features of the software ever since. We know the processes and challenges of our customers very well and have tailored our solutions according to their needs. 3. How many users does it support?
ERPNext can support an unlimited number of users (to be defined by the supervisor).
4. As this an Internet application, is my data safe?
Totally! In Pixi Technologies we understand the relevance of the data that the user enters the system, that is why we devote special attention to store, encrypt and keep safe. The backups are made everyday and with simultaneous copies on several servers. It also has the possibility of having automatic backups and on demand directly to your Dropbox account. The security on ERPNext is so tight that its access can be restricted to a unique IP address. Apart from this, the availability of its source code has allowed for peer review and has resulted in enhanced security capabilities. 5. Where is my information stored?
Your information is stored in online cloud servers located in specialized data centers, which have the most robust security systems.
Our infrastructure is provided by Digitalocean and Amazon Web Services suppliers recognized worldwide.
6. Can I control which users access certain information?
Yes, ERPNext has a powerful role-based permissions system to make sure you can precisely control who within your company can access your data with granularity at the field level. Security can be configured to your specific requirements. It is up to you to decide who can view or edit what information.
7. How much does the software implementation cost?
There are so many variables when analyzing what an ERP project will cost. But the key difference that influences ERPNext Implementation cost between organizations is process maturity and number of users expected to be using the system. We offer a very transparent pricing can also be afforded by companies with smaller budgets. Starting from 3 users at TZS 1,200,000 excluding training cost. For support and update service you pay an annual service charge.
8. I have a specific requirement, can you facilitate it?
Although the features of our software are numerous and will definitely accommodate most of your requirements, perhaps have a particular wish. But the software is usually is easy and cost effective for us to make small modifications to suit your needs. Please inform about the possibilities.
9. Can we export the reports into PDF or CSV format?
Of course! You can go ahead and convert your reports as Excel or PDF formats. It’s a very helpful option, since you can fully format and easily customize your reports, if needed.
10. Is there any mobile app to ERPNext?
Yes, both Android and iOS Mobile Applications is available.
11. Do I need any special software to connect to ERPNext?
No, ERPNext is a web application accessible through your browser. This means you can access it from any web enabled computer,s as long as you have access to an Internet browser such as Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and others
12. Can I get a one-on-one demo?
Yes, we would be happy to schedule a remote or on-site, one-on-one free demo. Just send us a request for one.
SOFTWARE SUPPORT SERVICE
1. Do I Get training on the software?
Yes, it takes half a day (3 hours) of training per module by qualified trainers of Pixi Technologies. The training is held at Pixi Technology facilities and allows for a maximum number of 5 people of your organisation. The training will be sufficient to get started with the system and covers all the important features. If you require more training or want a different venue (for example your own office) extra charges may apply.
2. What customizations does Pixi Technologies provide?
We offer Customized Print Formats, Custom Email Alerts, Workflow Approval Process Configuration and Unlimited Custom fields
3. What support does Pixi Technologies provide?
Every customer that pays our annual service fee will get product and technical support and is eligible for free product updates. Support includes functional queries by our help desk and at Pixi Technology facilities. Additional training on ERPNext Software products can be given on request (not free). All technical issues will be resolved remotely by our support staff, sometimes using Team Viewer if necessary.
3. What are your opening hours?
Our opening hours are from 9:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday. During weekends and holidays, our office is normally closed.
IMPLEMENTATION OF ERPNext SOFTWARE
1. When I decide to purchase ERPNext Services, what happens next?
After confirmation, we schedule an appointment with you at your convenient time to install the software. In most cases we can plan it within a few days. Installation takes place remotely (installation at your site is possible for an additional charge) and shouldn’t take more than a week depending on the number of users. After installation we will schedule an additional days for training. During training you will be explained how to set up the system and configure it, upload your data, making transactions, creating reports and much more.
2. Can I use the system immediately after installation?
Yes you can but be aware that you need to upload your data and configure your setting for optimal use. In general we recommend our customers to take a few days for this as well as to get used to the system before ‘going live’. Of course we will guide you through this whole process and will assist you with the implementation. We have done this several times for different organisations so there is no need to worry.
3. Who is responsible for uploading my data (customers, suppliers, employees etc.) in the system?
The customer is responsible for the upload of all data in ERPNext Software. But don’t worry we will guide you through the process and make absolutely sure everything is clear. In case you require support during adding of data, you will incur extra charges. But it’s not very difficult and you need to be able to do it yourself anyway in the future.
4. What if I face difficulty in using ERPNext after implementation
We have a round the clock Support Centre available on Email, Phone or Chat can assist you using our Remote Support System, where our Support Executive will be able to access your server or your desktop remotely and offer your real-time support. Post-implementation, you will also be provided with a detailed user-guide.
